A big thank you to all the fantastic stall holders who put in a big effort on the day.
As you would all know the weather was forecast to be.........mmmm well you could say miserable. As I drove to the hall in the rain, torrential rain, I saw a ray of light. This could only be described as as such because it was nothing short of a miracle.
Thank you to everyone, and there were lots of you, 2500+ to be exact, for coming to Handmade on Saturday. Had it been better weather we would have been a little more spread out with lots of tables and chairs spread out on the lawn. It was a fantastic day for everyone involved.
I would like to let you all know that because of your generosity we raised $1698.70 on the day. This in itself is an amazing amount but add to that the $1,000 already raised and it just plain brings tears to my eyes.
We also had 20 presents placed under the giving tree. These will be given to MND to distribute to ACT families dealing with MND this Christmas.
The next Handmade market is booked for the 7th February, just in time for Valentines day!
